Anderson Research Nox-Nitrox-2 is a supplement designed for those seeking increased pump, endurance, and energy support during training. Its formula combines Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate and Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarate, obtained by associating key amino acids with Alpha-Ketoglutarate, a fundamental intermediate of the Krebs cycle, involved in the initial steps of cellular energy production.
Ornithine, together with Citrulline, plays a central role in the urea cycle, the physiological mechanism through which the body eliminates nitrogenous waste generated by intense metabolic activity. The presence of Beta-Alanine indirectly contributes to improving muscle endurance because, in association with Histidine, it promotes the formation of Carnosine, a compound naturally present in muscles and involved in controlling muscle acidity.
