DESCRIPTION
Anderson Research Amino-4 Complex is a branched-chain amino acid supplement in a 2:1:1 ratio with L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine, formulated to support energy, recovery, and muscle mass maintenance. BCAAs account for approximately 30% of muscle proteins and play a key role in energy metabolism, especially during intense or prolonged training, helping to preserve muscle tissue when glycogen reserves tend to decrease.
The formula is enriched with L-Arginine, an amino acid with multiple metabolic functions, involved in both anabolic and energetic processes. Arginine participates in the urea cycle, the main mechanism by which the body eliminates nitrogenous waste, and is a fundamental precursor to nitric oxide, an essential element for supporting endothelial function and vasodilation. In combination with alpha-ketoglutarate, it helps to facilitate metabolic purification processes, promoting the transport of amino groups during transamination reactions.
The composition is completed by Zinc bound to L-Methionine, a highly bioavailable form that acts as a catalyst for numerous physiological processes. Zinc supports protein synthesis, protection from oxidative stress generated by aerobic activity, testosterone production, and fat metabolism, as well as supporting cognitive function, acid-base balance, and DNA synthesis. The presence of Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal functioning of the Immune System and energy metabolism, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Thanks to the rapid bioavailability of amino acids, this supplement is suitable for sports, during hypocaloric diets, and during cutting periods, to compensate for any nutritional deficiencies and meet increased metabolic demands.
